MEET THE OWNER
SAM
At the helm of this small, yet progressive company, Sam as she is known, is originally from the UK. Having arrived for an extensive holiday in the beautiful Mother city back in December 1994, shortly after Nelson Mandela had become South Africa's new president...there was a distinct wave of possibility and opportunity throughout the whole country. She was very quickly hooked, on what can only be described as a melting pot of diverse cultures, all full of hope for their new future. With Tourism about to boom, Sam was in the right place at the right time and was able to put her many years of working in hospitality to good use. Initially she continued with her hotel management career, until 2009 when she decided to take the plunge and combine her three decades of knowledge and experience, her love of people with an unquestionable passion for Southern Africa... Somewhere SOUTH - Hospitality Solutions was born.
